Bron Edwards
Speech and Language Therapist
Bron graduated from the University of Ulster in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy. She is passionate about challenging herself and expanding her expertise through continuous professional development.
Dedicated to providing evidence-based practice, Bron has completed formal training in a range of areas, including ELKLAN Total Training, Alex Kelly’s Assessment and Teaching of Social Skills, the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, and Makaton Levels 1 to 4. In 2018, Bron earned a Master’s degree in Mindfulness from the University of Aberdeen.
With over 17 years of experience as a speech and language therapist, she finds great fulfilment working with children, adults, and their families. Bron believes it is a privilege to support people in understanding and developing their communication skills, helping them reach their full potential.
What do you do to switch off from work?
Hiking and mountain biking
Tell us something that none of your colleagues know about you?
I spent four days walking across the Sahara and also completed two months of silent meditation at a retreat in South Africa.
What would be your last supper?
Mangoes just picked ripe from the tree.
