The Muir Practice; New Year, New Name, Same Ethos & Passsion

The New Year is well underway, and we’ve been busy behind the scenes over the last few months creating new and exciting branding to kick off 2024. 

We are delighted to reveal a new look for our website and a new name for the company. As we continue to grow and develop our services, we believe The Muir Practice encapsulates everything we deliver under one roof.

Our passion for speech and language therapy is very much at the heart of what we do at The Muir Practice, but we also provide many more services in our Glasgow clinic and our team boasts a wide range of different skills and expertise. We believe The Muir Practice will help us to reach out to more people and provide the support they need and deserve.

We are also delighted to announce the launch of our new Autism Assessment Clinic, which aims to assess and provide post diagnostic support as well as education sessions, parent support groups, as well as peer support groups for children with a recent diagnosis. This clinic will be delivered by our highly trained team and is something we are incredibly proud of, as we strive to enable people to reach their full potential.

Working in collaboration with Stronger Together for Autism and Neurodivergence, we are also delivering parent workshops in Glasgow and future workshops in Ayrshire are planned to start very soon.

Building on our new move to new premises on the south side of Glasgow in Giffnock only last year, we now have three clinic rooms, including a large room for training workshops and group sessions. We are also working with several schools and nurseries across the central belt of Scotland, providing invaluable training to their staff, with a focus on speech, language, and communication, and have established three new speech and language therapy clinics within schools in Glasgow.

So, as we head into the New Year and our services continue to grow, we are also looking to grow our team. The Muir Practice is on a recruitment drive.
